  • Borough Council Candidates

Saadia is a digital & automation specialist and single parent of four children, the three youngest having been to The Heights primary school.

She is proud to be standing for election in Caversham Heights Ward following the sudden resignation of a Labour councillor.

Saadia is caring and dedicated, and has been working with Isobel Ballsdon on local issues for several years. She has been campaigning with Isobel, local families, the Cub Scouts and others, to get the Council to make Albert Road Recreation Ground accessible to all. Pushing for practical changes that protect the beautiful trees and retain the well-loved play equipment.

She has been self-sufficient, providing for her children through her full-time job and giving them a loving and stable home through her own determination and resilience. She hopes to be able to help others with the benefit of her own experiences and knowledge.

She has been Reading Central Conservative Association's Deputy Chairman Political since 2024.
