Kris moved to Reading in 2024 to study at the University of Reading and quickly became an active voice in campus life. As a political activist, he co-founded a student initiative and has since served as Secretary, Campaign Administrator, and now Vice-President, helping to drive engagement and debate among students.
A firm believer that individuals are only as strong as their community, Kris is passionate about encouraging open discussion on how the local area, council, and country are run. Whether on campus or on the doorstep, he is committed to listening to people, engaging with different perspectives, and working to deliver positive change.
Over the past year, Kris has campaigned across Berkshire for greater accountability on anti-social behaviour, while also creating content to highlight key issues such as crime, infrastructure, and the individuals working to improve local communities. He has been a strong advocate for free speech on campus, supporting students who feel their voices have been marginalised and promoting respectful, open dialogue.
Kris has also worked to improve political engagement through initiatives such as “Talk to a Tory” events, helping students and residents connect directly with local representatives and take a more active role in politics.
He stood as the candidate for Park Ward in 2026, but sadly was unsuccessful. Regardless, Kris is committed to amplifying the voices of disadvantaged, younger, and struggling residents, and to working towards a safer, more supportive environment for families and future generations.
