I’m Alex Smith, a local mum living near Micklands School, where my daughter goes, and I’m asking for your vote in the May Local Elections.
I chose to live in Emmer Green because it offers the best of town and countryside - but it deserves better attention. In just a short time, I’ve already got unsafe walls repaired, paving fixed, and rubbish cleared. I don’t just talk - I get things done.
As a full-time working mum, I understand the pressures of daily life. I know how important it is to have a community that works - and I’m determined to make ours even better. 
With your vote, I will be able to:
•    Pressurise the Council to properly resurface the Henley Road - without further delay 
•    Hold the Council accountable on roadworks and traffic disruption 
•    Make Clayfield Copse, parks and alleyways safer for women and children 
•    Improve play equipment at the Milestone Centre and Clayfield Copse
•    Fight alongside you against over development  
Right now, Emmer Green isn’t getting the priority it deserves. I live here too - I see the same issues as you. I’ll be a strong local voice, standing up for our community and making sure we’re not overlooked.
